These Terms govern your use of CNC Werkbank, provided by Wolfgang Liertz Coaching, owner Wolfgang Liertz, Muxelstraße 1, 81479 München, Germany (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@cncw.eu. Governing law is the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
CNC Werkbank is an offline-first browser tool to design, check and send G-code to hobby CNC routers. A free tier and a paid “Pro” tier are offered; payments are handled by our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy), who is the seller of record and issues your invoice.
You are the safety system. CNC Werkbank helps you plan and send G-code but cannot see your machine. You are solely responsible for safe setup, supervision and operation: stay at the machine, air-cut first, complete the pre-cut checklist, and fix (never ignore) lint and envelope warnings. The software cannot check clamping, bit condition, real stock position/thickness, calibration, or whether you are present — those remain your responsibility.
Hobby tool, provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wolfgang Liertz Coaching provides the software without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted/error-free operation. You are solely responsible for the safe setup, supervision and operation of your CNC machine and for verifying all generated G-code (e.g. by air-cut) before cutting. Wolfgang Liertz Coaching is not liable for damage to your machine, tools, stock, workpieces or surroundings, or for lost designs/data, arising from your use of the software, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
Mandatory rights unaffected. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by a defect, liability under the EU Product Liability Directive (EU) 2024/2853 and its national transposition, or liability for intent or gross negligence. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
The warranty disclaimer governs contractual quality expectations only; it does not, and cannot, waive strict product liability toward an injured person.
- Your data is yours. Your designs, projects, tool libraries and generated G-code are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers. You can export them at any time in open, machine-readable formats (
.wbk/JSON project files;.ncG-code), with no fee and no waiting period.- Account data. You may export all data we hold about your account (license state and any feedback) at any time in a machine-readable format via the in-app export function, and request its deletion.
- If we introduce a hosted or cloud-sync feature, then for any data you store with us through it — consistent with Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act), Chapter VI: no switching or exit fees; a notice period of no more than two (2) months; completion of the switch and retrieval of your exportable data within a maximum of thirty (30) days thereafter; export in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format via documented open interfaces; erasure of that data after the switch completes (subject to legal retention duties); and no commercial, technical, contractual or organisational obstacles to switching.
A Pro license is a signed entitlement cached on your device and verified offline; a 14-day trial is available once per device. Trials and licenses may be revoked for abuse. Prices and tiers are as shown on the pricing page and may change with notice for future terms.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance, subject to your mandatory rights.
